How to teach your dog paws to prancing

Published on 12 October 2020 at 17:10

Most dog parents teach their dogs to shake a paw but here I am showing you how to teach your dog how to extend on that talent.  It will wow your three F's (friends, family and fans) too.

It's suitable for all breeds of dogs of all ages, including puppies.  Use plenty of yummy treats and learn each section thoroughly before moving on to the next.  Now, I am showing you how to teach this exercise with proper dogs that are actually learning this exercise and not with dogs that already can do it, so in real time (btw that is why some of my camera angles are a bit wonky!)  This is important to build on you, the dog parents, confidence because if you feel an exercise is too hard or you are failing then so will your dog.  So enjoy and above all have fun.

Keep training sessions super, super short; no more than 5 minutes, yep, that's right, 5 minutes or less on each stage.  We go for quality not quantity here at DogsandBlogs :-)

Enjoy and have fun
